Bounce House and Sam's New Monsters Inc. Room

July was a hot month.  After the Tirrells left it was still in the 90s for another week or so.  We finally broke out the bouncy house we had gotten a couple months before and they boys had fun playing on that!  I also finished decorating the boys' room and we finished fixing up the garage that Jason and his dad had started while they were here.  All the projects are really coming along!  We can finally move our attention back to finishing the dining room, although that will be a long process!  Once we get that finished the living room is the only room left in the house to fix up.  We probably won't start on that for awhile though, we need a break :) 

 

Palmyra

We started our day in Palmyra by checking out the Joseph Smith Farm and the Sacred Grove.  Then we did a quick drive by of the temple and headed to Hill Cumorah to find seats for the pageant.  The pageant was great, we all had a fun time!

 

NYC

We rode the train down to NYC.  We only had a little more than 24 hours there, but we made the most of it!  We did lots of walking!  We saw Times Square, the Museum of Natural History, and the Rockefeller Center.  Jason's parents and Madi also went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art while we took the boys to play at a cool playground.  It was so much fun!

4th of July

Grandma and Grandpa Tirrell and Madi arrived on the 4th of July.  It was very hot, in the 90s, pretty much the whole time they were here (and very humid)!  We had a fun bbq and it was so great to see them again!

 

June

We did get a lot done in June, mostly finishing the guest room and getting ready for grandpa and grandma Tirrell to come visit.  Here are the boys the first time we broke out the pool.  It was in the 90s so we needed it!  Jason and I also had our 5 year anniversary in June.  It's bee a fabulous five years, we look forward to many more fabulous years!!!

 

May

May was a great month!  It finally started getting warm :)  Jason started softball, most of the pictures in this post are from the park at his first game, it was one of the first really nice days of the year and the first time we went to the park for the summer.  We also started working on the guest room and dining room, although we ended up not getting much done during May because it seemed like someone was sick almost every weekend :/
